A thrust stage is a stage that extends out into the auditorium, the audience is seated around three sides. A proscenium stage is a theatre space with the main feature being a large frame or arch.
 A fly gallery is a raised platform at the side of a stage that has ropes and equipment for moving props and scenery.

Scrim blocks
everything behind it when the light shines from the front. If the light is behind the scrim, you can see everything clearly.
